Terms & Conditions

Your health and safety are our top priorities. Rest assured that we meticulously sanitize all tools, surfaces, and our hands both during and between appointments to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.

While every precaution is in place to ensure your well-being, please be aware that the Artist cannot be held responsible if, at any point, a client begins to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19. Your continued scheduling of appointments signifies your acceptance of these terms as we work together to prioritize everyone's health.

DISCLAIMER

  • Please do not book/come to an appointment knowing you are displaying signs of Covid 19! If you show signs of illness, I will terminate the appointment and you will no longer be able to book future appointments. This is for everyone's safety!

  • No other guest will be allowed to during your appointment. If a parent is accompanying the client (Child), that is the only exception.​ Additional guests must sit in the waiting area.

  • The makeup chair will be sprayed with disinfectant spray and hands will be sanitized before services begin. Your temperature will also be taken using a NON-CONTACT digital thermometer.

Policies

BOOKING TERMS

  • For appointments requested with a notice of 12 hours or less, you are classified as a "call-in" client, and it's necessary to contact me directly to confirm availability.

  • Appointments outside our regular business hours will incur an additional $40 fee. To book an appointment during these times, please email your request at jsteele.artistry@gmail.com with the time and date of choice. You should receive a response within 24hrs. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Fri: 8 am- 7 pm

  • Following your booking, a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address. PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR ACCURACY!!!!! In case you can't locate the email, please check your spam folder. Additionally, you'll receive a reminder 24 hours prior to your appointment and a text notification 1 hour before your scheduled time.

  • To secure your appointment, a non-refundable $25 retainer is required when booking services. This retainer will be deducted from your total cost. NO RETAINER, NO APPOINTMENT!!! All payments are accepted in CASH or CARD ONLY!

  • We understand that sometimes delays happen, and we offer a 10-minute grace period. If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible. An additional $20 late fee will be applied after the initial 10 minutes. After 15 minutes, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the appointment.

  • Should you need to reschedule, your retainer can be applied ONCE. AFTER THE 1ST RESCHEDULE, A NEW RETAINER IS REQUIRED.

  • For appointment changes or cancellations, please ensure you provide at least 24 hours notice before the appointment time. If you meet this requirement, you can use your initial email confirmation to reschedule. However, for all same-day cancellations and no-call/no-shows, a $75 fee will be charged to the card on file.

  • PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow same-day changes of services. Be sure to review the service descriptions to select the one that best suits your needs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

TRAVEL SERVICE

  • For clients seeking Travel Services beyond our regular studio setting, please book the "JSA Travel Service." This option is designed for those requiring services at their Homes, Hotels, or Venues located within a 20-mile radius of the Birmingham area.

  • In the event that you need the JSA Travel Service outside the 20-mile radius of the Birmingham area, a travel fee of $0.66 per mile for the round trip will apply. This fee will be added to the total remaining balance, payable on the day of the service. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

PRE-APPOINTMENT

  • For Makeup services, please ensure that your brows are groomed prior to your appointment. In cases where grooming is necessary, a $5 additional charge will be applied to the service.

  • All Makeup Application services include lashes. If you prefer to bring your own lash strips, please make sure they are clean and new. Please note that bringing your own lashes does not affect the service price.

  • To start your makeup application smoothly, your skin must be clean and free of makeup and lashes (tabs, clusters, strips). Single/Individual Lashes are acceptable. We recommend exfoliating your skin 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment for the best results.

  • As a friendly reminder, pets or animals are not permitted in the studio. Thank you for your cooperation.
